Rooted in Tradition. Centered on You.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine that bring together traditional wisdom, modern clinical training, and care that sees the whole person.
A Thoughtful, Individualized Approach to Care
At New Heights Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, we don’t treat with a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Traditional Chinese Medicine looks beyond a single symptom to understand the patterns affecting your overall health. We tailor your care to your individual needs, health history, lifestyle, and goals.
That means taking the time to listen, understand what’s going on, and create a treatment plan designed specifically for you.
Jun enjoys working with weightlifters, runners, CrossFit and HYROX athletes, and anyone pursuing an active lifestyle. He treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including muscle strains, tendon injuries, joint pain, overuse injuries, and mobility limitations.
He also has a special interest in women's health, particularly helping female athletes manage exercise-related menstrual irregularities, painful periods, PMS, pelvic discomfort, fatigue, and recovery challenges. By combining acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and individualized treatment plans, Jun strives to help patients recover faster, move better, and continue doing what they love.
During his clinical training and professional experience, Jun developed a special interest in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey, particularly those undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF). He understands that each stage of the IVF process has unique physical and emotional demands and tailors acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine treatments to complement each phase, taking into account each patient's individual constitution and overall health.
Beyond providing individualized treatment, Jun believes that compassionate care is just as important as clinical expertise. He strives to create a calm, supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and cared for during what can often be an emotional and challenging experience. His warm, attentive approach allows patients to feel supported every step of the way.
Meet Jun
Born and raised in Yunnan, China—a region celebrated for its extraordinary variety of medicinal herbs—Jun was introduced to Traditional Chinese Medicine from an early age. In Yunnan, herbal medicine is not only a part of healthcare but also a part of everyday life. Growing up in this environment gave him a deep appreciation for the healing properties of Chinese herbs and inspired his lifelong passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine.
After moving to the United States in his early twenties, Jun lived in California and Louisiana before eventually settling in Texas. Today, he combines his cultural heritage with professional training to provide individualized, evidence-informed acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatments for his patients.
As a strength athlete for more than 10 years, Jun understands firsthand the demands that training places on the body. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine played an essential role in helping him recover from injuries throughout his own fitness journey, inspiring his passion for treating active individuals.
